J. Stephan Dolezalek, Director, is a partner at VantagePoint Ventures Partners. He became a director of Direct Therapeutics in 2001. Mr. Dolezalek has spent the last 16 years in Silicon Valley working exclusively with technology driven companies. He has assisted more than 100 entrepreneurial companies in developing business plans, obtaining venture funding, completing corporate partnering arrangements, going public and merging with third parties. Mr. Dolezalek’s experience includes co-founding venture-backed companies and serving as a director of many high technology companies in the Information and Life Sciences sectors.

Prior to joining VantagePoint, Mr. Dolezalek was a Business and Technology partner with Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP, one of the nation’s leading technology company-focused law firms. He acted as Managing Partner of Brobeck’s Palo Alto Office, head of the Office’s Business and Technology Practice Group and Chairman of the Firm’s Life Sciences Practice Group. Mr. Dolezalek attended the School of Architecture at the University of Virginia (B.C.P.) and the University of Virginia School of Law (J.D.). He has lectured and written on a variety of subjects, from venture capital financing to mergers and acquisitions in a high technology environment to corporate partnering.
